Let it rain

Down on me!

Let the waters of the earth

Flow down on me!

I can feel the tide,

Rushing to the shore by the sea.

Let it flow

Right through me!

I want to know what it does to me!

I can feel the wind,

Brushing past the cells of my skin!

I can feel the clouds,

Waiting to liquefy—

By the water shall you purify!

I’m floating

On a sea of checkerboard spheres—

Not quite knowing

Just exactly what brought me here.

I see a feeling

Coming my way;

Shock sets me a reeling –

I guess I’ll have to give way!

Thunder and lightning

Cuts me to the bone!

It’s not frightening –

It’s going to bring me on home!

And I’m floating

On vibrations of spheres,

I’m careening,

All my senses aware!

Whatever it was,

I want to do it again!

I’ve got some things to wash out,

So, let it rain!

I can feel

The moon;

Tears come into my eyes—

Like the water shall I

Rise!
