Back in and the place of images ,

Were dreams are made

We took a piece of destiny,

Put a spark within the eyes ,

Just right to hypnotize,

Then let it

Realize--

Called it

You and me …

The Fates looked down on all of this,

And they just smiled ;

The very stars seemed to agree.

Old Mother Earth approved,

And gave us room to move,

Just so we’d fit the groove--

As above so below will be!

A little magic slipped in

Sweet, and quite unseen--

A subtle shifting of the spheres…

We’d had it all rehearsed:

We’d go our own ways first,

But, for better or worse

We’d cross paths in years.

A psychical reaction came to pass

And quietly took its place inside;

We looked and came to grow,

And we wanted to know

All that there is to know,

And so we tried !

And then that special day arrived,

And there we were

Just ripe to fill each other’s lives!

Cut from the same mold,

Just like the song fortold,

It felt like striking gold

Multiplied by five!

And now our lives are threads that interweave.

We have our love for all to see--

The magic grows anew,

Like we knew it would do,

Each moment I’m with you,

My Sweet Destiny !
